Your hospital’s agreement comes first

UBQ+ is provided to hospitals under their agreement with UBQ. Where that agreement differs from these terms, the agreement governs.

Your account

Your hospital sets up your UBQ+ account. Keep it to yourself: do not share your sign-in details or let anyone else use your account. If you think someone else has used it, tell your hospital’s UBQ+ administrator or us right away.

Clinical judgment

UBQ+ supports clinical staffing and patient assignment. It does not replace clinical judgment. Decisions about a patient’s care remain with the clinicians caring for that patient.

Acceptable use

Use UBQ+ only for your work, and only as your hospital allows. Do not:

• access accounts, data or systems you are not authorized to use;
• interfere with or disrupt UBQ+, or test its security without our written permission;
• copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell UBQ+;
• use UBQ+ to send unlawful, harassing or unrelated messages;
• use UBQ+ in a way that breaks the law or your hospital’s policies.

We may suspend access that puts UBQ+, patients or other users at risk.

Text messages (SMS)

UBQ+ sends work text messages to hospital staff who ask for them: patient assignments, team alerts, messages from colleagues, and one-time codes. Staff add their mobile number in UBQ+, which confirms it with a code, or their hospital’s UBQ+ administrator adds it at their request.

• Message frequency varies.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help.
• Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in information are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use them only to send these messages.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Using UBQ+ or this website after a change means you accept the new terms.
